RESOURCES Knowledge Is Power
"Which first? Do I register my domain(s) or open a hosting account?"
The short answer is that you can do either one first. They are separate things and do not depend on each other. The end result will be the same. However, it is easier and better to register your domain first. All you will need at the Domain Registrar is our "nameservers". You will be asked for the Primary and Secondary Nameservers. That information is below: Primary: ns2.anvilwebservices.com IP: 66.154.14.32 It will typically take between 36 and 72 hours for your new domain to spread throughout the internet. Rather like the ripples from a drip in a pool of water. While your new domain name is spreading you can come back here and open your account. New accounts are typically set up within 24 hours, and many times within 12 hours.
