Answer: Yes, the servers are equipped to handle Server Side Includes (SSI). Top ^ Question: When I try to execute a CGI program it says error 500, what's wrong? Answer: The most common problem is a file permission error. Refer to the scripts install or Readme file. Top ^ Question: What OS do you use on your servers? Answer: Our servers run on the latest version of CentOS, an Enterprise-class Linux Distribution. Top ^ Question: How quickly can I expect my account to be setup? Answer: New accounts are generally setup within 24 hours as long as payment has been made in full. Top ^ Question: What is your network connectivity? Answer: We maintain GigE Connectivity to multiple Tier 1 and Tier 2 providers including: BTN (Beyond the Network), WV Fiber, Level 3 and others. Top ^ Question: Do you monitor your servers? Answer: Yes, all of our equipment is monitored by trained on site technicians 24x7x365. The network is also monitored via 2 other services to notify us of any Internet congestion to allow us to make routing changes if there are any types of Internet outages. Top ^ Question: Do you have weekly backups? Answer: Yes, we run weekly backups of mission critical files such as password files,data base and system files, however this does not include website backups. If you are interested in website backups, please see the Maintenance section for more information. Top ^ Question: Do you host adult sites? Answer: Yes, as long as the website is in compliance with 18 U.S.C. 2257 or any other U.S. law. Hosting is the only service we provide for adult websites. Legal adult websites are allowed but we choose to not work on them beyond offering hosting. Top ^ Question: Do you host Warez or IRC bots or clients? Answer: No, Warez and IRC are against our TOS Top ^ Question: Do you charge set-up fees? Answer: Setup fees are free of charge unless otherwise stated. Top ^ Question: Can I send bulk, unsolicited, or spam e-mail? Answer: No, that is against our acceptable use policy. Top ^ Question: Do you submit my sites to search engines or do I need to do that myself? Answer: We leave search engine submission up to you. Top ^ Question: Do you offer "unlimited bandwidth"? Answer: There really is no such thing as "unlimited bandwidth" While some companies can be deceiving, claiming to give you unlimited bandwidth we state up front how much bandwidth you are allotted in your plan. We do offer unrestricted bandwidth which allows your website the ability to exceed the amount of bandwidth in any given hosting plan for an additional fee. Top ^ Question: How much are your bandwidth overage charges for your hosting accounts? Answer: Anything used over your allotted monthly bandwidth is charged at a flat per gigabit rate of $1.50 per gig. Top ^ Question: Which web authoring software can I use? Answer: You can use any authoring software that is capable of publishing websites via the FTP protocol. Most products support this feature. At this time we do not support Frontpage extensions. Top ^ Question: Will you place ads on my webpage? Answer: Absolutely not. Top ^ Question: Do you offer domain registration? Answer: No, not at this time. But we can recommend two particularly good Registration Services. Please see Domains. Top ^ Question: Do you offer Domain Parking? Answer: Yes we do. Top ^ Question: If I have hosting somewhere else can I still use you for other services? Answer: Yes, we do not make you host your website with us. Top ^ Question: Do you have 24x7x365 support? Answer: Yes we do. Top ^ Question: Do you offer support for 3rd party software or services? Answer: No, you will need to contact the company where the software or service was purchased. Top ^ Question: How long have you been around? Answer: We have been designing and maintaining our own group of websites since 1999. We have been accepting outside clients since 2002. Answer: While we might want to brag about our accomplishments, we hold our client's privacy and confidentiality to strict standards. All of our contracts include Non-Disclosure and Confidentiality clauses. However, we have permission to show three websites we have worked on and we invite you to consider our website here also as a representative sample. (There is no real benefit to performing lesser work for a client then for ourselves anyway, is there?) Top ^ Question: Where are you located? Answer: We are located in Huntington Beach, CA. USA Top ^ Billing FAQs: Question: Are we paying in advance?Answer: All hosting accounts are based on a month to month prepay basis. Service periods run from the 1st to the last day of each month. Top ^ Question: Do you have a minimum commitment or contract? Answer: All accounts are based on a month to month term commitment unless stated otherwise or other arrangements have been made. Top ^ Question: Do you offer a 30 day money back guarantee? Answer: Yes, please see our Guarantee Page for details. Third Party purchases are non refundable. Account add-ons are non refundable. Bandwidth overages are non refundable. Miscellaneous billable support is non refundable. If your account has been cancelled due to a breach of any of our Terms or Policies, you will not be eligible for a refund. Top ^ Question: What payment methods do you accept? Answer: We accept all major credit cards and bank transfers through Paypal (fees may apply); Company or Personal Check; Money Order and Cash. Note: Checks need to clear our bank before services are rendered. Cash is not recommended for security reasons. If you send Cash and it is lost or stolen in transit we can not accept responsibility. If you must use Cash, we recommend Registered and/or Insured mail from the post office. Top ^ Question: Is your credit card payment form secure? Answer: Yes, all of our payment options are done in a secure environment. Top ^ Question: Is the cost per package a yearly or monthly fee? Answer: All pricing is based on a monthly fee unless stated otherwise Top ^ Maintenance and Support FAQs: Question: I notice that each Maintenance Plan comes with an allotted amount of Hourly Services. What kind of work can I submit using theses Hourly Services?Answer: Anything. This is what makes having a Maintenance Plan very cost effective for the customer. Top ^ Question: What happens if I have a Maintenance Plan but exceed my allotted Hourly Services? Answer: If you exceed your allotted time in any given month, additional services will be charged at $40 per hour. Top ^ Question: Can I carry my Hourly Service hours over to the next month if I do not use them all in one month? Answer: Yes, half of the remaining time from the one previous month rolls over to the next month. But unused time does not continue to carry over beyond one month. Top ^ Question: What if I need extra support or consultation, can you help? Answer: We can offer support or consultation for an additional fee based on $40 per hour with a minimum of 15 minutes.
